THE HENTII WILDERNESS

The Khentii is a mountain wilderness area only 40 km from the capital which stretches all the way to the Russian border. It lies within the Toy and Khentii provinces. The Khentii hinterlands are completely uninhabited and very rich in wildlife. To be in the Khentii wilderness with a Mongol trapper, is like an in the Alaskan wilderness. In the Khentii it is possible to spot both bears and wolves. You are likely to see wild boar, maral deer, marmots, lemmings and moose. In one specific area where we usually camp, the wolves howl almost every night. The lower areas of the Khentii Mountains are near Ulaanbaatar, and the Terelj National Park. Beyond the main Khentii Mountains is complete wilderness, devoid of human habitation. Due to the lack of pastures, it is unsuited for the livestock breeders. This wilderness area is difficult to penetrate, and rich in wildlife. It extends all the way north to the Russian frontier. There is some human habitation in the patches of steppe in-between the mountain ridges and forests on the edges of the Khan Khentii Strictly Protected Area. This area is exceptionally scenic, yet to some extent near the capital. In the lower areas of Khentii, we can use yak and horse carts to transport luggage. This area is completely covered by deciduous and coniferous forests. Valleys with marshy boggy areas make the use of yak carts further north sometimes impossible. It is rare for anyone to venture into these remote areas in the summer months, and pack horses will have to be used.

Huvsgul Lake Huvsgul National Park

Huvsgul is the twin lake of Baikal and is located completely within the taiga life zones of northern Mongolia. Huvsgul is the second largest lake in the country, after Uvs lake. It lies in a narrow basin of alpine peaks which soar over a mile above its clear surface waters.Huvsgul is extremely transparent, so pure you can actually drink it. Normally you can see to a depth of 16-18 meters and even to 25 meters. The lake is the deepest in Mongolia. It is nearly 640 km long. For Europeans it is a remarkable experience to hike around this large pristine body of water, and rarely see any boats, ships or any activity on the lake itself. No wonder, Lake Huvsgul was recently declared Mongolia’s first ever national park. You will reach the Huvsgul province by flight to Murun. After lunch in the local hotel, and possibly a short visit to the local Natural History Museum we will transfer north for about six hours by a simple bus, or jeeps. From Hatgal we will continue through the forests and mountains of the western shore, and we will reach our spectacular base camp by the shore. The Darhat Depression:This fantastically beautiful place with some 200 lakes is the lake district of Mongolia. It is a treeless steppe completely surrounded by the taiga life zone areas bordering Siberia and Tuva. A remarkable nomadic people called the Dukha (Tsaatan) live here during the winter time. They are reindeer breeding-nomads. They live in the high taiga forest zones and come down the valleys during the winter. They are reindeer herdsmen. They also hunt sable for their valued furs. There are just a few Dukha people who also have animistic beliefs. Shamanism has survived to this day in the northern areas of Huvsgul province. The Dukha speak a completely different language, which essentially is the related to the Tuvan Uriankhai, hence a Turkic language. Just 14 families are fully nomadic moving every 2-3 weeks year round. Their children do not go to school (which is unusual in Mongolia). They live in dwellings that resemble tepees or Lapp tents. Superficially they seem related to the Scandinavian Lapps. The Darhat, a Mongol speaking ethnic group, also live by herding reindeer, but they also engage in other traditional Mongolian activities. Another activity in the Tsagaan Nuur area is of course fishing. Taimen come in impressive sizes here, and the fishing is best in September. To reach the Tsagaan Nuur area is rather complicated. They choice is a long overland trip or helicopter. It is possible to fly on scheduled flight to Murun, and travel in Russian jeeps from there. Two days is required. It also possible to ride from Lake Huvsgul across the Horidal Saridag Mountain Range through the Jiglig Pass.

This holiday was fantastic. My holiday was exciting and full of joy. I enjoyed it immensely. I am looking forward to going there again soon. Welcome to Mongolians Beautiful and Interesting place. Good luck!!!

Future of Mongolia

Can you imagine what our lives in the year? Perhaps you will be living in the flying house or may be you` will be eating ready-made as robots.

By the relationship will have developed. Because will have become mobile. Some people will have lived in mars so will connected easily to mars on the other hand, maybe this technology will have negative effects for humans.

Mongolians will introduce the airplanes and ships for clean water and air. And we will creath robots, that will be create the forest in our country. In the future of Mongolia will call that “Empire of garden Mongolia” in the world. On the other hand and maybe Mongolian people’s connection to nature will be clear. Our children will not known the dessert. Most people belive that by 2050.

Education will have changed s lot too. As humans and cyber world is develop will be inheigh level. Mongolian children gene is are considered as the best in the world, so I believe our education will be lider what’s more , cyber world will be develop children’s study in school will have become a thing of the past.

By the year 2050 doctors will have determined methods to cure new diseases because scientists will be using new technology. Moreover we will be healthy.

Homelife will be better and worse in Mongolia in the 2050. Robots will be doing the hosuewoerk.People will have a lot of free time because there won’t be necessity to do housework, especially for housewifes. On the other hand, a lot of people can’t do move enough. They will be fat and lazy. It’s too bad our healthier and average age.

Mongolian big problem is air pollution as factories, cars and ger districts pollute the air there fore it cause serious problems, trees and plants are damaged. More and more people than ever before have developed allergies and breathing problems. If people don’t do something now! Our cities will become impossible to live in.

We can save our planet of Mongolia. We need to do is open our eyes.
Problems of the Planet

Air pollution is a very big problem in the Planet. A large part of air pollution comes from cars. The most polluting activity an average person does everyday is drive their car. Most people probably aren’t aware that they are polluting the environment. Maybe if everyone knew how serious this pollution problem is, they would find ways to reduce the pollution.

Of the major problems is pollution that is released by cars comes from the exhaust, mainly in the form of hydrocarbons. Hydrocarbons are organic compounds ,a combination of two or more elements, that contain only carbon and hydrogen. Hydrocarbons are released when fuel in the engine burns partially. When hydrocarbons come in contact with sunlight they form ground level ozone. Ground level ozone is a major ingredient in the formation of smog. Ground level ozone is responsible for irritating eyes, damaging lungs, and it complicating respiratory problems. The first reduces the flow of oxygen to the bloodstream, and could harm people with heart disease. Nitrogen oxide is formed when a car engine gets hot. It contains chemicals that aid in the formation of ground level ozone as well as acid rain. Acid rain destroys the outsides of buildings, statues, etc. Acid rain can also contaminate drinking water, damage vegetation, and destroy sealife. These two pollutants are two of the most dangerous pollutants released through car exhaust. If these two pollutants were cut down just a little bit our planet would be a safer place to live. . Global warming is the gradual increase of temperature due to human activity. Certain gases, such as carbon dioxide, methane, and ozone allow radiation from the sun to break through the atmosphere and go to the earth’s surface. Global warming affects all living things on the entire planet.

These hydrocarbon pollutants are produced four different ways. The first way is called diurnal. This is when the venting of gasoline vapors occurs due to the temperature of the car’s engine rising. The second way is running losses. This is the venting of gasoline when the car’s engine is running. . The third way is called hot soak. Hot soak occurs when gasoline evaporates after the car has been turned off. One way to cut down on this type of pollution is to have the car tuned properly. The refueling problem can be reduced with the use of vapor recovery system. This system traps the vapor inside the tank. These systems are present at many gas stations in highly polluted areas. Some cities around the world are very dangerous to live in because of car pollution. One city is Athens, Greece. In Athens the number of deaths rises on days with greater air pollution. Just breathing the air in Bombay is the same as smoking half a pack of cigarettes a day. Over 150 million people in the United States live in areas where the Environmental Protection Agency considers the air to be unhealthy. The American Lung Association says, “The unhealthy air leads to 120, 000 deaths every year. The citizens of earth are killing themselves. They are killing themselves for convenience. Finally I think this problems very rankle!!!

Twilight of the New Moon

Twilight would be the same movie with or without vampires.
Edward is attracted to Bella because she smells delicious, but he could just as easily have been attracted to her because she’s really super-hot. Bella on the other hand, is attracted to Edward for the same reason all teenage girls seem to be attracted to bad boys. I don’t know what that reason is , but the female lust for jerks is something of a universal constant, and it’s on full display here. This is a story of a nice girl attracted to a brooding, edgy, asshole. The vampire stuff is there only to provide a little extra eye candy, it’s almost a gimmick, but the shallow romance themes in play are timeless, ageless, and they work well enough. It’s a film sure to make 16-year-old girls and women who think Matthew McConaughey is sexy, squeal with delight.

Bella is the new girl at school , having moved to the gloomy, rainy state of Washington to live with her father. Her relationship with dad is something of a footnote in the film, but it’s more realistic than you’d expect. Family is something Twilight seems to understand, whether it’s a human father and his daughter or a coven of friendly vampires. It’s not long before Bella falls in with a crowd of those blood-suckers, living right out in the open. These vamps don’t seem to have fangs and sunlight is only a problem because it reveals their true nature. When hit by a sunbeam, their skin looks like someone went crazy on them with a bedazzler. Or at least it’s supposed to, the movie’s limited effects budget makes it more of a half-hearted twinkle.
Edward Cullen is Bella’s window into the vampire world. When she meets him he’s her lab partner, and he treats her like garbage. This of course makes her extremely interested, so she pursues him. Soon we learn that he’s been avoiding her because he’s a vampire, and she smells so delicious he’s not sure he can keep from eating her. He’s from a family of vampire vegetarians, blood suckers who do their best to avoid chowing down on humans, sticking to animals instead. Bella finds this all terribly romantic and she’s instantly in love with Edward. Edward returns her affections, perhaps a victim of his own vampire compulsions since it’s hard to see any reason for him to fall in love with her. Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson seem perfectly suited to their roles, that is to say they’re good at playing pale, besotted, empty-headed teenagers. Pattinson even manages to pull off being a teenager with bite. Before long there’s strife, less friendly vampires come to town and Edward must protect Bella from becoming someone else’s meal. That’s not really the point of this movie though. It’s not an action flick or a vampire horror movie so much as a brooding romance film. When it does attempt action the pic’s limited special effects budget isn’t up to it, and they’re forced to find ways around doing anything too ambitious. The movie’s best scenes instead, seem to happen when Bella and Edward are simply hanging out with his pale, vampiric clan. A vampire baseball game provides something of interest, and getting a feel for how the Cullen’s survive undiscovered yet out in the open is worth your time. Director Catherine Hardwicke deserves a lot of credit for keeping Twilight away from the crash and burn it probably deserves. This is fairly shallow material which, with an oversized blank check budget might have been massaged into a legitimate movie. Unfortunately Hardwicke didn’t have a bigger budget and is forced to do the best she can with what she has. The result is a film which feels more like the pilot for a television series than a cinematic experience. There’s just not enough going on here. On television Twilight could have been the new Beauty & the Beast and critics might have hailed it as one of the best things on TV. As a movie it’s merely not terrible. Fans of the book series on which it is based will no doubt throw themselves at it with energy and lavish it with praise, for anyone else it’s forgettable but not particularly painful.
